lyrics

I started drinking more than I would do if things were different, but everything seems the same
Punk and politics and cats in hats with bowties on - maybe the internet’s to blame

I’ve got this feeling, that everything will end in failure as I’m signing my life away.
It’s all gonna end in failure this year.
In Oakley Court there’s us and everyone who isn’t listening. I must be screaming at some trees. I bruise my knees and shins and scrape the skin on floors and fault lines; purple dissipates to green.
And in the summer, I’ll be working at Asda, knowing I could do better than this.
But it’s all gonna end in failure this year.
