lyrics

I'd like a space for my own head,
Where I can hide the thoughts that I don't want read,
They always get read.
And I can say the things that I never say,
I never say the things that I want to say,
Even now.

But I wonder how life would be,
If we drank nothing but cups of tea,
Oh think of all the things that never happen,
We're chasing all these plans but we can't quite catch them.

And sometimes I make things difficult,
I've got a million ideas, but it's not my fault
They just float out of my ears.
So this is a sincere apology,
For sounding like a fudging anthology,
And wasting your time.

But I wonder how life would be,
If we drank nothing but cups of tea,
Oh think of all the things that never happen,
We're chasing all these plans but we can't quite catch them.
